| The Sunugal African Restaurant recently opened for business in Bastrop, near Austin, Texas. The restaurant is run by a Senegalese expatriate, Dr. Doudou Faye, and his wife Joyce. Joyce has spent time in Senegal and has mastered the cuisine of several different areas of the country. The food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. - From Austin, take 71 East to Bastrop.
- On entering Bastrop, make a left at the light immediately before the HEB (on the left side of the road).
- Go 1/4 mile and make a right on Old Austin Highway.
- Go another 1/4 mile and Sunugal African Restaurant will be on your right across from Aqua Water Co. and next to a nusing home.
